I once started using a strippers pole as a way to keep fit. The one thing that came out of it was I was pretty good at it. I realized I could make a passable stripper. We are going to get a pole but I have come to realize I am going to have to start learning all over again.

Yesterday I was working on an upcoming post with songs to take your clothes off with. I got caught up in the music and stood up, doing my best sexy dance. I did one move and my back went into spasm. My Daughter said, ‘Serves you right, you are too old to dance like that.’

I came back with ‘You’re just jealous because you can’t dance this sexy.’ She walked off. I hobbled to my chair.

The upshot of all of that was the knowledge I have to get fit, stretch out my muscles and build up my core. S. loves to see me dance around the house because he knows I am happy. I often dance with a mop. He loves me to sexy dance and lap dance for him. He will take me to strip clubs too as I love women’s bodies. I can also appreciate the talent it takes to strip.

Exotic dancing is not something just anyone can do. It takes a while to learn routines and also takes peak fitness. I am not ready to hang upside down and slide down the pole slowly. I would probably fall down and break my neck. But I won’t be unfit forever. If I get there I will post pictures of me not falling down. However I won’t be nakie. ~wink~

I want to go out and buy some nice masks for photographs of me. I think they are sexy and offer a certain level of anonymity.

Big rule is to not wear gloves on the pole! Start slowly and build up to the fancy moves. Not all of the dance has to be on the pole. You have to switch it up.

Well people, have I stirred up your stripper instinct? Go for it. Even you guys, there is no rule that says you can’t strip as well.

  1. I’ve been wanting to learn pole for ages.I wanted to start in my last year of university but an intercostal injury meant I couldn’t. It’s like vertical ballet and takes so much strength and agility to be able to do all those fancy moves. I saw a video of a pole world champion doing a routine and thought, “I want to be able to do that!” It’s a good way to keep fit and a great excuse to let out my inner stripper! 😂 x

    • I did it simply to get fit and I loved it. I don’t have the moxxy to actually strip in front of people. The basic thing is to do Pilates for your core and it also good for stretching muscles. You don’t need a pole to get fit. Don’t lock up that stripper desire, go for it and maybe find a beginners class? I have a back injury and two replacement knees so I have to adapt any such stripping I do. Please don’t do it at the expense of hurting yourself. You don’t need a pole to look sexy! ❤

      • Thanks Kitten 🙂 I don’t have the moxxy for it either so you’re definitely not alone! I’ve been doing Pilates on and off since I was 17 and it’s been brilliant for my muscles and when I injured my intercostal it really helped to strengthen it back up again 🙂 There’s a local dance school that does pole classes so I’m looking in to that. As far as stripping classes go I’m don’t have the guts to do it, I’m sticking to awkwardly dancing in my bedroom for now lol! 😀 ❤ x
